Persecuted For Righteousness’ Sake

Matatyahu 5:10-12 Assured are those persecuted for righteousness’ sake, because theirs is the reign of the heavens. (11) Assured are you when they reproach and persecute you, and falsely say every wicked word against you, for My sake. (12) Rejoice and be glad, because your reward in the heavens is great. For in this way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Yahuchanan 15:20-21 Remember the word that I said to you, “A servant is not greater than his master.” If they persecuted Me, they shall persecute you too. If they have guarded My Word, they would guard yours too. (21) But all this they shall do to you because of My Name, because they do not know Him who sent Me.

1 Corinthians 4:11-13 Until the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are scantily clad, and beaten, and homeless, (12) and labour, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we praise; being persecuted, we suffer; (13) being insulted, we help. We have been made as the filth of the world – dirt wiped off by all until now.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10 And we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power might be of Aluahim, and not of us – (8) being hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; being perplexed, but not in despair; (9) being persecuted, but not forsaken; being thrown down, but not destroyed; (10) always bearing about in the body the dying of the Master YAHUSHUA, that the life of YAHUSHUA might also be manifested in our body.

2 Timothy 3:12 And indeed, all those wishing to live reverently in YAHUSHUA ha’Mashyach, shall be persecuted.

1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 (14) For you, brothers, became imitators of the assemblies of Aluahim which are in Yahudah in YAHUSHUA ha’Mashyach, because you also suffered the same treatment from your own countrymen as they also from the Yahudim, (15) who killed both the Master YAHUSHUA and their own prophets, and have persecuted us, and who displease Aluahim and are hostile to all men, (16) forbidding us to speak to the heathen that they might be saved, so as to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come upon them to the utmost.

1 Kaipha 3:14 But even if you suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are assured. And do not fear their threats, neither be troubled.
