1 Kings 3:1-15 And Shalumah joined in marriage with Pharaoh sovereign of Matsuraim, and took the daughter of Pharaoh, and brought her to the City of Dude until he had completed building his own house, and the House of YAHUAH, and the wall all around Yurushalam. (2) Only, the people slaughtered at the high places, for a house for the Name of YAHUAH had not been built until those days. (3) And Shalumah loved YAHUAH, walking in the laws of his father Dude, except that he slaughtered and burned incense at the high places. (4) And the sovereign went to Gabaw’un to slaughter there, for that was the great high place. Shalumah offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. (5) At Gabaw’un YAHUAH appeared to Shalumah in a dream by night, and Aluahim said, “Ask what I should give you.” (6) And Shalumah said, “You have shown great kindness to your servant Dude my father, as he walked before You in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You. And You have guarded for him this great kindness, and did give him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. (7) “And now, O YAHUAH my Aluahim, You have set up Your servant to reign instead of my father Dude. But I am a little child, I do not know how to go out or to come in. (8) “And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. (9) “Shall You then give to Your servant an understanding heart to rule Your people, to discern between good and evil? For who is able to rule this great people of Yours?” (10) And the word was good in the eyes of YAHUAH, that Shalumah had asked this. (11) So Aluahim said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand right-ruling, (12) see, I shall do according to your words. See, I shall give you a wise and understanding heart, so that there was none like you before you, and none like you shall arise after you. (13) “And I shall also give you what you have not asked: both riches and esteem, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the sovereigns all your days. (14) “And if you walk in My ways, to guard My laws and My commands, as your father Dude walked, then I shall prolong your days.” (15) And Shalumah awoke, and see, it was a dream! And he came into Yurushalam and stood before the ark of the covenant of YAHUAH, and offered up burnt offerings and made peace offerings. And he made a feast for all his servants.
Yashaw’yahu 11:1-10 And a Rod shall come forth from the stump of Yashai, and a Sprout from his roots shall bear fruit. (2) The Spirit of YAHUAH shall rest upon Him – the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YAHUAH, (3) and shall make Him breathe in the fear of YAHUAH. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears. (4) But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and shall decide with straightness for the meek ones of the earth, and shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and slay the wrong with the breath of His lips. (5) And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and trustworthiness the girdle of His waist. (6) And a wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and a leopard lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child leads them. (7) And cow and bear shall feed, their young ones lie down together, and a lion eat straw like an ox. (8) And the nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the adder’s den. (9) They do no evil nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of YAHUAH as the waters cover the sea. (10) And in that day there shall be a Root of Yashai, standing as a banner to the people. Unto Him the nations shall seek, and His rest shall be esteem.
Matatyahu 18:1-6 At that time the taught ones came to YAHUSHUA, saying, “Who, then, is greatest in the reign of the heavens?” (2) And YAHUSHUA called a little child to Him, set him in their midst, (3) and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become as little children, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens. (4) “Whoever then humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the reign of the heavens. (5) “And whoever receives one little child like this in My Name receives Me. (6) “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
Mark 9:33-37 And they came to Kaphur Nachum, and having come in the house He asked them, “What was it you disputed among yourselves on the way?” (34) And they were silent, for on the way they had disputed with one another who was the greatest. (35) And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” (36) And He took a little child and set him in their midst, and taking him in His arms, He said to them, (37) “Whoever receives one of such little children in My Name receives Me. And whoever receives Me, receives not Me, but the One who sent Me.”
Mark 10:13-16 And they were bringing little children for Him to touch them, but the taught ones were rebuking those who were bringing them. (14) And when YAHUSHUA saw it, He was much displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the reign of Aluahim. (15) “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the reign of Aluahim as a little child, shall certainly not enter into it.” (16) And taking them up in His arms, laying His hands on them, He adored them.”
Luke 9:46-48 And a reasoning arose among them, who might be the greater of them. (47) And YAHUSHUA, having seen the reasoning of their heart, took a little child and placed him by His side, (48) and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My Name receives Me. And whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all, he shall be great.”
Luke 18:15-17 And they also brought infants to Him to touch them, but His taught ones seeing it, rebuked them. (16) But YAHUSHUA called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the reign of Aluahim. (17) “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the reign of Aluahim as a little child, shall certainly not enter into it.”
