Ayub (Job) 38:30 Waters are hardened as a stone, and the face of the abyss is frozen.
Yachazaq’al (Ezekiel) 26:19-21 “For thus said the Master YAHUAH, ‘When I make you a desolate city (Tsur/Tyre), like cities no longer inhabited, when I bring the abyss upon you, and great waters cover you, (20) then I shall bring you down with those who go down into the Pit, to the people of old. And I shall make you dwell in the lowest part of the earth, in wastes of old, with those who go to the Pit, so that you do not return. But I shall establish splendour in the land of the living. (21) ‘I make you a horror, and let you be no more. And you are sought for, but never found again,’ declares the Master YAHUAH.”
Luke 8:26-33 And they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galil. (27) And as He went out onto the land, He was met by a certain man, from the city, who had demons for a long time. And he wore no garments, and he was not living in a house but in the tombs. (28) And when he saw YAHUSHUA, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, YAHUSHUA, Son of the Most High Aluahim? I beg You, do not torture me!” (29) For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him many times, and he was bound with chains and shackles, being guarded. And breaking the bonds, he was driven by the demon into the lonely places. (30) And YAHUSHUA asked him, saying, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered into him. (31) And they were begging Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss. (32) And a herd of many pigs was feeding there on the mountain. And they begged Him to allow them to go into them. And He allowed them. (33) And the demons, having gone out of the man, entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep place into the lake and drowned.
Romans 10:1-13 Truly brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to Aluahim for Yashur’al is for deliverance. (2) For I bear them witness that they have an ardour for Aluahim, but not according to knowledge. (3) For not knowing the righteousness of Aluahim, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of Aluahim. (4) For Mashyach is the goal of the ‘Turah unto righteousness’ to everyone who believes. (5) For Mushah writes about the righteousness which is of the Turah, “The man who does these shall live by them.” (6) But the righteousness of belief speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who shall ascend into the heavens?’ ” – that is, to bring Mashyach down; or, (7) “ ‘Who shall descend into the abyss?’ ” – that is, to bring Mashyach up from the dead. (8) But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” – that is, the word of belief which we are proclaiming: (9) That if you confess with your mouth the Master YAHUSHUA and believe in your heart that Aluahim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. (10) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, and so is saved. (11) Because the Scripture says, “Whoever puts his trust in Him shall not be put to shame.” (12) Because there is no distinction between Yahudy and Greek, for the same Master of all is rich to all those calling upon Him. (13) For “everyone who calls on the Name of YAHUAH shall be saved.”
Revelation 9:1-11 And the fifth messenger sounded, and I saw a star from the heaven which had fallen to the earth. And the key to the pit of the abyss was given to it. (2) And he opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun was darkened, also the air, because of the smoke of the pit. (3) And out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth, and authority was given to them as the scorpions of the earth possess authority. (4) And it was said to them that they shall not harm the grass of the earth, or any green matter, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of Aluahim upon their foreheads. (5) And it was given to them that they should not kill them, but to torture them for five months. And their torture was like the torture of a scorpion when it stings a man. (6) And in those days men shall seek death and shall not find it. And they shall long to die, but death shall flee from them. (7) And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, and on their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. (8) And they had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. (9) And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle. (10) And they have tails like scorpions, and stings. And in their tails is their authority to harm men five months. (11) And they have over them a sovereign, the messenger of the pit of the abyss, whose name in Awbury (Hebrew) is Abadun, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon, (in Latin Exterminans).
Revelation 11:3-13 “And I shall give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clad in sackcloth.” (4) These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that are standing before the Aluahim of the earth. (5) And if anyone wishes to harm them, fire comes out from their mouth and consumes their enemies. And if anyone wishes to harm them, he has to be killed in that way. (6) These possess authority to shut the heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy. And they possess authority over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they wish. (7) And when they have ended their witness, the beast coming up out of the pit of the abyss shall fight against them, and overcome them, and kill them, (8) and their dead bodies lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sadum and Matsuraim, where also our Master was impaled, (9) and some of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations see their dead bodies for three and a half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be placed into tombs, (10) and those dwelling on the earth rejoice over them and exult. And they shall send gifts to each other, because these two prophets tortured those dwelling on the earth. (11) And after the three and a half days a spirit of life from Aluahim entered into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. (12) And they heard a loud voice from the heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up into the heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. (13) And in that hour there came to be a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. And in the earthquake seven thousand men were killed, and the rest became afraid and gave esteem to the Aluahim of the heaven.
Revelation 17:1-8 And one of the seven messengers who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying to me, “Come, I shall show you the judgment of the great whore sitting on many waters, (2) with whom the sovereigns of the earth committed whoring, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her whoring.” (3) And he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast covered with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (4) And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup filled with abominations and the filthiness of her whoring, (5) and upon her forehead a name written, a secret: BABAL THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (6) And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the set-apart ones, and with the blood of the witnesses of YAHUSHUA. And having seen her, I marvelled – greatly marvelled! (7) And the messenger said to me, “Why did you marvel? Let me explain to you the secret of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. (8) “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the pit of the abyss and goes to destruction. And those dwelling on the earth, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, shall marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Revelation 20:1-3 And I saw a messenger coming down from the heaven, having the key to the pit of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. (2) And he seized the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the Devil and Shathan, and bound him for a thousand years, (3) and he threw him into the pit of the abyss, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should lead the nations no more astray until the thousand years were ended. And after that he has to be released for a little while.
Sirach 1:1-2 All wisdom is from YAHUAH Aluahim, and has been always with Him, and is before all time. (2) Who has numbered the sand of the sea, and the drops of rain, and the days of the world? Who has measured the height of heaven, and the breadth of the earth, and the depth of the abyss?
Note: The ancient Awbury (Hebrew) word תהום – tahum, and the Greek word άβυσσος – abussos, are translated into English as “deep, bottomless pit, abyss”. When YAHUAH unleashes His mighty wrath on the earth, the sun will be darkened and everything will freeze immediately. This is literally “when Hell freezes over”.
