Leviticus 19:35-36 ‘Do no unrighteousness in right-ruling, in measurement of length, in weight, or in measuring liquids. (36) ‘Have just scales, just weights, a just aiphah, and a just hin. I am YAHUAH your Aluahim, who brought you out of the land of Matsuraim.’
Deuteronomy 25:13-15 “You shall not have in your bag differing weights, a heavy and a light. (14) “You shall not have in your house differing measures, a large and a small. (15) “You shall have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure, so that they prolong your days on the soil which YAHUAH your Aluahim is giving you.”
Proverbs 11:1 A false scale is an abomination to YAHUAH, But a perfect weight is His delight.
Proverbs 16:11 A perfect scale and balances are of YAHUAH; All the weights in the bag are His work.
Proverbs 20:10 Differing weights and differing measures, Both of them are an abomination to YAHUAH.
Yashaw’yahu (Isaiah) 40:12-15 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and measured the heavens with a span, and contained the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance? (13) Who has meted out the Spirit of YAHUAH, or as His counsellor taught Him? (14) With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of right-ruling? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding? (15) See, nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are reckoned as dust on the balance. See, He lifts up isles as fine dust.
Yachazaq’al (Ezekiel) 45:9-15 ‘Thus said the Master YAHUAH, “Enough, you princes of Yashur’al! Put away violence and plundering, and do right-ruling and righteousness, and stop your evictions of My people,” declares the Master YAHUAH. (10) “Have just scales, and a just aiphah, and a just bat. (11) “Let the aiphah and the bat be of the same measure, so that the bat contains one-tenth of a chumur, and the aiphah one-tenth of a chumur. Let their measure be according to the chumur. (12) “And the shaqal is twenty gurahs. Your mina is twenty shaqals, twenty-five shaqals, fifteen shaqals. (13) “This is the contribution which you present: you shall give one-sixth of an aiphah from a chumur of wheat, and one-sixth of an aiphah from a chumur of barley. (14) “And the law concerning oil, the bat of oil, is one-tenth of a bat from a kur. A kur is a chumur or ten bats, for ten bats are a chumur. (15) “And one lamb from a flock, from two hundred, from the watered pastures of Yashur’al, for grain offerings, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make atonement for them,” declares the Master YAHUAH.
Mikah 6:7-13 Is YAHUAH pleased with thousands of rams or ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my being? (8) He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does YAHUAH require of you but to do right, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Aluahim? (9) The voice of YAHUAH cries to the city – and let sound wisdom see Your Name! “Hear the Rod and Him who appointed it! (10) “Are there still treasures of wrongness in the house of the wrong, and the short measure that is an abomination?” (11) Would I be innocent with wrong scales, and with a bag of false weights? (12) “For her rich men are filled with cruel unrighteousness, and her inhabitants have spoken falsehood, and their tongue is deceit in their mouth. (13) “So I also, I shall smite you with a grievous wound, to lay you waste because of your sins.”
