Treasured Possession

סגולה (sagulah) – possession, valued property, peculiar treasure, special

Exodus 19:1-6 In the third month after the children of Yashur’al had come out of the land of Matsuraim, on this day they came to the Wilderness of Sinai. (2) For they set out from Rephidim, and had come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness. So Yashur’al camped there before the mountain. (3) And Mushah went up to Aluahim, and YAHUAH called to him from the mountain, saying, “This is what you are to say to the house of Yaw’aqub, and declare to the children of Yashur’al: (4) ‘You have seen what I did to the Matsuraim, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. (5) ‘And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – (6) ‘and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yashur’al.”

Deuteronomy 7:6-8 For you are a set-apart people to YAHUAH your Aluahim. YAHUAH your Aluahim has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples on the face of the earth. (7) YAHUAH did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more numerous than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples, (8) but because of YAHUAH loving you, and because of Him guarding the oath which He swore to your fathers, YAHUAH has brought you out with a strong hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh sovereign of Matsuraim.

Deuteronomy 14:1-2 You are the children of YAHUAH your Aluahim. Do not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead, (2) for you are a set-apart people to YAHUAH your Aluahim, and YAHUAH has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy 26:16-19 Today YAHUAH your Aluahim is commanding you to do these laws and right-rulings. And you shall guard and do them with all your heart and with all your being. (17) You have today caused YAHUAH to proclaim to be your Aluahim, and to walk in His ways and guard His laws, and His commands, and His right-rulings, and to obey His voice. (18) And YAHUAH has caused you to proclaim today to be His people, a treasured possession, as He has spoken to you, and to guard all His commands, (19) so as to set you high above all nations which He has made, for a praise, and for a name, and for esteem, and for you to be a set-apart people to YAHUAH your Aluahim, as He has spoken.

Psalms 135:1-5 Praise YAH! Praise the Name of YAHUAH; Praise, you servants of YAHUAH, (2) Who are standing in the House of YAHUAH, In the courts of the House of our Aluahim, (3) Praise YAH, for YAHUAH is good; Sing praises to His Name, for it is pleasant. (4) For YAH has chosen Yaw’aqub for Himself, Yashur’al for His treasured possession. (5) For I know that YAHUAH is great, And our Master is above all mighty ones.

Malaky 3:16-18 Then shall those who fear YAHUAH speak to one another, and YAHUAH listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who fear YAHUAH, and those who think upon His Name. (17) “And they shall be Mine,” said YAHUAH of hosts, “on the day that I prepare a treasured possession. And I shall spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. (18) “Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wrong, between one who serves Aluahim and one who does not serve Him.”

Ephesians 1:3-14 Blessed be the Aluahim and Father of our Master YAHUSHUA ha’Mashyach, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Mashyach, (4) even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be set-apart and blameless before Him in love, (5) having previously ordained us to adoption as sons through YAHUSHUA ha’Mashyach to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His desire, (6) to the praise of the esteem of His favour with which He favoured us in the Beloved, (7) in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His favour, (8) which He has lavished on us in all wisdom and insight, (9) having made known to us the secret of His desire, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him, (10) to administer at the completion of time, to gather together in one all in Mashyach, both which are in the heavens and which are on earth, in Him, (11) in whom also we did obtain an inheritance, being previously ordained according to the purpose of Him working all matters according to the counsel of His desire, (12) for us to be the praise of His esteem – those having first trusted in Mashyach, (13) in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your deliverance, in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Set-apart Spirit of promise, (14) who is the pledge of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His esteem.

Titus 2:11-14 For the saving Gift of Aluahim has appeared to all men, (12) instructing us to renounce wickedness and worldly lusts, and to live sensibly, righteously, and reverently in the present age, (13) looking for the blessed expectation and esteemed appearance of the great Aluahim and our Saviour YAHUSHUA ha’Mashyach, (14) who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people, His own possession, ardent for good works.

1 Kaipha 2:1-10 Having put aside, then, all evil, and all deceit, and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil words, (2) as newborn babes, desire the unadulterated milk of the Word, in order that you grow by it, (3) if indeed you have tasted that the Master is good. (4) Drawing near to Him, a living Stone – rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Aluahim and precious – (5) you also, as living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Aluahim through YAHUSHUA ha’Mashyach . (6) Because it is contained in the Scripture, “See, I lay in Tsyun a chief corner-stone, chosen, precious, and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.” (7) This preciousness, then, is for you who believe; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone,” (8) and “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling,” who stumble because they are disobedient to the Word, to which they also were appointed. (9) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, (10) who once were not a people, but now the people of Aluahim; who had not obtained compassion, but now obtained compassion.

Halal YAHUAH!
