Judges 9:6-9 And all the masters of Shakam gathered together, and all of Ba’it Mala, and they went and made Abymalak sovereign beside the terebinth tree at the post that was in Shakam. (7) And they informed Yutam, and he went and stood on top of Mount Gurizim, and lifted his voice and cried out, and said to them, “Hear me, you masters of Shakam, and let Aluahim hear you! (8) “The trees went forth to anoint a sovereign over them. And they said to the olive tree, ‘reign over us!’ (9) “And the olive tree said to them, ‘Shall I leave my oil, with which they esteem mighty ones and men, and go to sway over trees?’
Ayub 15:30-35 He does not turn away from darkness. The flame dries up his branches, and he turns aside by the breath of His mouth. (31) Let him not trust in falsehood, deceiving himself, for falsehood is his reward. (32) Before his day it is accomplished, and his branch shall not be green. (33) He shakes off his unripe grape like a vine, and throws off his blossom like an olive tree. (34) For the company of the defiled ones is barren, and fire consumes the tents of bribery. (35) They conceive trouble and bring forth wickedness, even their womb prepares deception.
Psalms 52:6-8 And let the righteous see and fear, And laugh at him, saying, (7) “See the man who did not make Aluahim his strength, But trusted in his many riches, Being strong in his destruction.” (8) But I am like a green olive tree in the House of Aluahim, I have trusted in the kindness of Aluahim forever and ever.
Yashawyahu 17:4-6 “And in that day it shall be that the esteem of Yawʽaqub wanes, and the fatness of his flesh grows lean. (5) “And it shall be as when the harvester gathers the grain, and reaps the heads with his arm. And it shall be as he who gathers heads of grain in the Valley of Raphaim. (6) “And gleaning grapes shall be left in it, like the shaking of an olive tree, two or three olives at the top of the uppermost branch, four or five in its most fruit-bearing branches,” declares YAHUAH Aluahim of Yashur’al.
Yashawyahu 24:7-13 The new wine shall fail, the vine shall languish, all those glad at heart shall sigh. (8) The joy of the tambourine shall cease, the noise of those who rejoice shall end, the joy of the lyre shall cease. (9) No more do they drink wine with a song, strong drink is bitter to those who drink it. (10) The deserted city shall be broken down, every house shall be shut, no one enters. (11) There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy shall be darkened, the gladness of the earth shall be gone. (12) The city is left in ruins, and the gate is stricken with destruction. (13) For thus it is to be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, like the shaking of an olive tree, like the gleaning of grapes when the grape harvest is done.
Yurumyahu 11:6-17 And YAHUAH said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Yahudah and in the streets of Yurushalam, saying, ‘Hear the words of this covenant and do them. (7) ‘For I earnestly warned your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Matsuraim, until this day, rising early and warning, saying, “Obey My voice.” (8) ‘But they did not obey or incline their ear, but everyone walked in the stubbornness of his evil heart. So I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, and they did not do.’ ” (9) And YAHUAH said to me, “There is a conspiracy among the men of Yahudah and among the inhabitants of Yurushalam. (10) “They have turned back to the crookednesses of their forefathers who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other mighty ones to serve them. The house of Yashur’al and the house of Yahudah have broken My covenant I made with their fathers.” (11) Therefore thus said YAHUAH, “See, I am bringing evil on them which they are unable to escape. Then they shall cry out to Me, but I shall not listen to them. (12) “And the cities of Yahuḏah and the inhabitants of Yurushalam shall go and cry out to the mighty ones to whom they burn incense, but they shall bring no deliverance to them at all in the time of their evil. (13) “For your mighty ones have become as many as your cities, O Yahudah. And you have set up as many altars to shame as there are streets in Yurushalam – altars to burn incense to Bawʽal. (14) “And you, do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them, for I do not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their evil. (15) “Why should My beloved be in My house – she has done wickedness with many. And does the set-apart flesh remove your evil from you? Then you rejoice? (16) “YAHUAH has named you, ‘Green Olive Tree, Fair, of Goodly Fruit.’ With the noise of a great sound He has set it on fire, and its branches shall be broken. (17) “And YAHUAH of hosts, who planted you, has spoken evil against you for the evil of the house of Yashur’al and of the house of Yahudah, which they have done against themselves to provoke Me, by burning incense to Bawʽal.”
Husha’aw 14:1-9 O Yashur’al, return to YAHUAH your Aluahim, for you have stumbled by your crookedness. (2) Take words with you, and return to YAHUAH. Say to Him, “Take away all crookedness, and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips. (3) “Ashur does not save us. We do not ride on horses, nor ever again do we say to the work of our hands, ‘Our mighty ones.’ For the fatherless finds compassion in You.” (4) “I shall heal their backsliding, I shall love them spontaneously, for My displeasure has turned away from him. (5) “I shall be like the dew to Yashur’al. He shall blossom like the lily, and cast out his roots like Labanun. (6) “His branches shall spread, and his splendour shall be like an olive tree, and his fragrance like Labanun. (7) “Those who dwell under his shadow shall return. They shall revive like grain, and blossom like the vine, and become as fragrant as the wine of Labanun. (8) “What more has Aphuraim to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after him. I am like a green cypress tree, your fruit comes from Me.” (9) Who is wise and understands these words, discerning and knows them? For the ways of YAHUAH are straight, and the righteous walk in them, but the transgressors stumble in them.
Chabaquq 3:17-18 Though the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vine, The yield of the olive tree has failed, And the fields brought forth no food, The flock has been cut off from the fold, And there is no herd in the stalls, (18) Yet I exult in YAHUAH, I rejoice in the Aluahim of my deliverance.
Chagai 2:10-19 On the twenty-fourth of the ninth month, in the second year of Daryaush, the word of YAHUAH came unto Chagai the prophet, saying, (11) “Thus said YAHUAH of hosts, ‘Now, ask the priests concerning the Turah, saying, (12) “If one bears set-apart meat in the fold of his garment, and with the edge he touches bread or stew, or wine or oil, or any food, is it set-apart?” ’ ” And the priests answered and said, “No.” (13) And Chagai said, “If someone defiled by a dead body touches any of these, is it defiled?” And the priests answered and said, “It is defiled.” (14) And Chagai answered and said, “ ‘So is this people, and so is this nation before Me,’ declares YAHUAH, ‘and so is every work of their hands. And whatever they bring near there is defiled. (15) ‘But now, please consider, from this day onward: Before a stone was laid on a stone in the Hayakal of YAHUAH, (16) since those days – one came to a heap of twenty, and there were ten; one came to the winepress to draw out fifty baths from the press, and there were twenty – (17) ‘I smote you with blight and mildew and hail in all the labours of your hands, and there was none of you with Me,’ declares YAHUAH. (18) ‘Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the Hayakal of YAHUAH was laid, consider it: (19) ‘Is the seed yet in the storehouse? And until now the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit! From this day on I shall bless you!’ ”
Romans 11:17-24 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, (18) do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you! (19) You shall say then, “The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” (20) Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear. (21) For if Aluahim did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either. (22) See then the kindness and sharpness of Aluahim: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off. (23) And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Aluahim is able to graft them in again. (24) For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
